1 YEAR REMEMBRANCE OF MY LATE FATHER

It never gets easy daddy, it just gets different each day as we try to adjust to your leaving us so soon. We miss you so much.

You will forever remain alive in our hearts and memories daddy, and though we are learning to live without you we still miss you so much. No matter how many years go by, the pain of your death never diminishes. Dad, we miss you so much.

You were my anchor and when you died dad I felt so lost. Even today, the love you had for all of us is something we deeply miss as we miss your presence in our lives. I wish I could turn back the clock to when you were still here daddy; I would appreciate and enjoy every moment with you. If only you were here. I am not getting married soon. My life is a journey. My career is my journey. I didn’t lie to my baby mama when she was pregnant; I told her I wasn’t ready to get married. I never said I wasn’t going to get married. But at the moment, I am not ready. When she told me she was pregnant, I accepted the pregnancy.She told me she hoped I wasn’t going to be like other musicians who had kids from different women. I told her no. My two kids are from same woman. I know what I am doing.I never knew I could love anyone the way I love my daughters. My first daughter is my best friend. I didn’t know what I wanted when I had her. But I knew I wanted to rebrand. So I had to take off the dreadlock

the 2nd edition of 'Phynofest'

The beautiful capital of Enugu, Nigeria literally stood still for the 2nd edition of PhynoFest  headlined by  one of Nigeria's finest indigenous rappers, Phyno. The concert which held on Sunday the 20th of November saw Phyno perform alongside industry's finest acts including  MI, Olamide, Psquare, Burna Boy, Patoranking, KCEE, Mr Eazi, Zoro, Lil kesh  among others.

Veteran songstress, Onyeka Onwenu also shared the Phynofest stage with the celebrated rapper.

His fans came out in their numbers filling the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium beyond its 24,000 capacity. With a total of 30,000 excited fans screaming excitedly  as the music stars performed, the over 5000 fans who were not allowed entry due to security challenges camped at the entrance as an expression of their love for the rapper.

 It was truly a memorable night as his teeming fans received much more than they bargained for in terms of music performances.

FLORIDA BOY CALLS 911 TO INVITE POLICE FOR DINNER

A 911 dispatcher in the Florida Panhandle received an unusual -- albeit heartwarming -- call from young resident on Thanksgiving Day.

"A little boy melted all the hearts in Walton County Sheriff's Office Communication Center today," read a post on Walton County Sheriff Michael A. Adkinson, Jr.'s Facebook page.

According to the post, a boy named Billy called 911 Thursday afternoon "to invite WCSO staff/deputies to come eat Thanksgiving dinner with he and his family."

Considering most calls that 911 dispatchers receive are from people in a state of distress, the call was a pleasant aberration.


"With all the bad calls we take on a daily basis this one was a welcomed happy call that made all of us smile," said lead communications officer Monica Webster.

Billy was paid "a special visit" by deputy Damon Byrd and deputy Aaron Ethridge, who gave him a sheriff’s badge.

The deputies also allowed him to sit in their patrol car.

The Facebook post concluded, "While we do not encourage this use of 911 ... we are so honored at the invitation. Thank you Billy for making all of our days here at WCSO.Love What Matters #LoveWhatMatters."

HARRYSONG DUMPS FIVE STAR MUSIC?

There is about to be another artist/label drama/fight in the Nigerian entertainment industry. And this time, it's between Raggae Blues singer Harrysong and his Five Star Music label.

This evening, Harrysong shared the poster on the left on his IG page, he didn't say what it was about but when we went digging, we found out it was his own music label. Thing is, Harrysong still has a 2-year contract with Five Star Music and we hear Five Star Music will be coming for him...

We don't have all the details but according to someone in the know, Harrysong was unhappy with his contract and wanted out. Without informing Five Star, he started his own label.

A source close to the music label said he believes that the music label will take it up with Harrysong as they paid a lot of money to break his contract with his former music label, Kevin Luciano's Question Mark Records before they could even sign him and they have spent a lot of money on him and he still has contractual agreements with them until 2018.

Harrysong doesn't seem to care as he's already launched his own label.
